Elle Crawford, soprano and actor, is a graduate of Yale University and a student of April Evans under the vocal school of 19th century Russian-born soprano Madame Olga Ryss. Elle has performed with the chorus of the American Baroque Orchestra in New Haven, CT; Nassau Philharmonia at the Barry & Florence Friedberg Jewish Community Center in Oceanside, NY; New Camerata Opera in New York City; and Opera Programs Berlin. In 2019, she made her Carnegie Hall debut with the New York Lyric Opera Theatre at Weill Recital Hall in the role of Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) and in 2020 in the role of Suor Osmina (Suor Angelica) at the National Opera Center. In 2021, under the tutelage of Cynthia Sanner, she was a part of the inaugural Opera Programs Berlin Trans* Voices Masterclass and Opera Programs Berlin Trans* Voices Gala Concert Livestream with Dr. Stephanie Weiss. In 2023, she made her New York theater debut as Linda in “Somewhere between Mars & Venus”. Elle lives and works in New York City and studies acting with Tim Eliot and the William Esper Studio.
